I burned my tongue a couple of days ago and it still hurts, espcially when I eat salty or acidic foods! Now I have tiny red bumps on the tip of my tongue...is everything ok?

It may be due to the normal healing of process, especially since you burned your tongue. Try to eat bland foods for the next few days. Avoid anything spicy, salty or even anything too hot. Drink lots of cool fluids, and also rinse your mouth with warm salt water or 1/2 water and 1/2 peroxide. It should begin to feel better in a few days. If there is no change at all or doesn't even feel as though it's getting better, then do be seen. Keep in mind, it can take anywhere from 4-7 days for your tongue to heal.
