Question

When grading & pricing Canadian Coins is MS-65 (mint state) the same as PL-65 (proof-like)? How can one tell a true SPECIMEN coin from a PROOF COIN or are they the same? I am really trying to understand when to use MS, PL and SP in grading and valuing Canadian Coins, especially dollars and halves.

Many thanks!

Chad Currin
