What may I take on board an aeroplane when travelling

In view of the hightened security measures I would like to know what I can and cannot carry on board and aircraft in my hand luggage.

Thanks for your reply. Click here to see the information provided by Heathrow Airport. This is current, up-to-date information for all UK airports. The UK has the severest restrictions, so flying to another European country will not be a problem, as long as you follow the UK advisory.
