Question
Hi, I noticed today that my puppy's eyes, (mostly his right eye) has a bit of yellowish fluid comimg from it. This just started yesterday and is more noticable today. He doesn't appear to bothered by this.
What could this be and what could be the cause of it?
How is this treated?
I am going to take him to the Vet tomorrow.
Thank You!

Answer
He is probably developing a little upper respiratory infection. The eyes are usually the first indication of an infection developing. I wouldn't worry too much, but your vet will probably not give him any vaccinations if he looks to be coming down with something. This isn't a problem that warrants a trip into the emergency clinic. Just make sure if the drainage is there tomorrow, to not wipe it out right before seeing the vet so that he can look at it and determine what may be going on. He'll probably give you eye ointment or drops for the infection and possibly an oral antibiotic as well. Please let me know if I can help further.
