Hello my name is lauren and just recently baught a book from an estate sell. I was drawn to it immediatly and i am wondering what it might be worth.
the book is an Abbottsford edition. "The Life of Napoleon Buonaparte, Emporer of the French. with a Preliminary view of the French Revolution." written by Sir XXXXXX XXXXX. (the book is in 2 volumes in one) it was published in philidelphia: by Jas. B. Smith & CO. NO. XXX XXXXXXX XXXXXX. in 1858!
please just give me a little info. on this beautiful book. thanks- lauren

Recently the 1832 1ST. EDT. 2 VOL set sold on eBay for $139.50, but the 1858 combined edition is being offered at a much lower price. Ebay is often used by professional appraisers to determine value of items. The value of you book would depend if on it's condition, and the amount a buyer would willingly pay. The value of you book would be at least what you paid for it, and could be worth much more.
