Question

Finding the Name of a Song

Sent to General Experts August 17, 2006 3:01 p.m.

I would like to know the name of a song from about the early 80's, sung by a male artist with a somewhat raspy voice. Some of the lyrics are:
      If I could fly
      I'd pick you up
and take you into the night
      and show you the love
      like you've ever seen.
That's suppose to be the chorus (or part of it).
The only other thing I can add is somewhere in the beginning of the song, it has lyrics that says:

She's just 16 years old
Leave her alone

And in another part of the song it says something like:

I can't measure my love
There's nothing to compare it to.

Sorry, this is all the information that I have.
