If A appears every fourth time, What are the odds of ...

If A appears once every four times (25o/o of the time, What are the odds of getting A the first two times.

Well, the odds of getting it the first time is 1/4, or 25%.

The odds of getting it the second time is also 1/4, or 25%.

We then multiple these odds together to find the chance of them happening in a row, or 1/4 x 1/4 for 1/16, or 6.25%
