We are a manufacturer of Canadian made Goods. Leather jackets, hockey jackets, baseball caps, sports team jackets. We employ 86 cutters & sewers.
A radio station has asked me to come and speak about the importance of buying domestic made goods, as opposed to cheaper goods made in china. The qualitry is similar, so he says, buy chinese, why pay more. He is especially adamant about this issue when discussing our tax dollars. He believes the govt. will save $$$ buy buying everything offshore, including the uniforms for the Department of National Defense, clothing for govt. employees, uniforms, etc...
I need to come back with the economic benifits of buying Canadian. The moral issues speak for themselves.
