I have looked at your eBay auction and I can tell you that you have a very rare piece of history. I did an intensive search yesterday and found no more information than you already have. The lack of information is a very good indication of it's rarity. If I were selling an item such as this on eBay I would have contacted some museums, and possible collectors, that would be interested in such an item. Post to sites that deal with like items with a link to the eBay auction also helps bring in bidders. I believe the scarf is a multi collectible item that could be sought by several type of collectors. If it is not to late. I would suggest ending the listing early, stating that there was an error in the listing. Once the proper contacts were made, and if you found any interested parties, a link to the new auction could be provided to them, to enable them to bid on your scarf. Another suggestion, I would have is to provide a larger image of th scarf in the auction post, and possible more pictures. The quality of your pictures is very good, but a larger picture would have provided greater detail. The better the prospective buyer can see what is being offered, the higher a price it will bring. I have also found the more information that can be provided the more watchers you will get. You do have very good eBay feedback and that will help . You also have several interested bidders, which indicates it is a much sought after item. Although I have not provided you much information that you already had, I thought it was important to provide you with this information, that may help in bringing a ending value close to it's actual worth, which I believe to be many times the bid that it now has on eBay. I am sure other Experts would have responded if they had additional information.
