Answer

Hi Tex, A little more info is needed before I can give you the best answer for your project?
Are you planning on just a few tiles or doing the entire buffet top? If you are doing the entire top what does the edge look like?
What will the size and thickness be of the tile?
If your not doing the entire top will any of the inlay pieces be touching each other?
Can you determine the thickness of buffet top?

This input will help a great deal to advise you on how to proceed.
