how can I open a US bank acciunt with a minimum $150 or less opening deposit given that I am non-resident

No I'm not located in the US and do not have a taxpayers ID, SSN, or any of those other details that would otherwise be required of me.

Thanks for the reply. Yes please I would like to know how to get a taxpayers ID.

However, I would have thought that only US residents would require a tax ID, or do I think wrong? Also, what of a situation where I am not going to be paying taxes to the US as I do not live or own a US based business, would I still require a tax ID in such circumstance?
