You should try to freeze the wax. You can try by filling a zip loc bag with ice cubes (this should make the wax brittle), place the zip loc over the wax. After a while, you should be able to scrape the wax off. If it does not all come off, you can try using a blow dryer. Place the dryer on hot (hi), and use it on the affected area. After awhile try scraping the area again.

If the above do not completly work, you can try placing a thick napkin or towel over the affected area and use your iron on the napkin/towel. This should soften the wax, enough to scrape up!
