Question
Hi, I was due to fly on vacation with my partner & 3 kids. My youngest child is unwell so now me (the father) and the two other kids will be going on our own. Do I need a letter of authority from my partner stating I can take the children on the trip?
If so does this need to be a hand written letter signed by my partner??
Many Thanks

Optional Information
Answer
No, you do not need any written permission to take your children on vacation with you from your partner. However, to be safe and given currentl security flight procedures you can get a written permission slip from your partner, signed in blue ink and provide your contact information for your partner. You can also contact the airline you are using to fly for updated security procedures.
However, without these security issues, typically you do not need any written permission to take your children on a trip, Notice of said trip would have been sufficient.
