My cat just had one kitten who unfortunately was breach and died. She passed the placenta fine but is it abnormal for her to just have had one kitten? Is she alright?

Answer

It happens, but is not that common. If she is acting okay and not in discomfort I would wait until Monday and just have a vet palpate her abdomen and make sure it is okay. If she is restless and uncomfortable, I would get her to an emergency vet because one may be retained.
