I have a bernese mountain dog(7 years of age). I do not know what to do because she is not eating her food or even human food. She is on the following medications-Deramaxx for pain(because it seems as if she does not have any strength in her two back legs) and Proin for incontenese(possible because of her age using this drug). My concern is the not eating. She has had all sorts of blood work to rule out cancer and xrays, but I am really concerned. Should I maybe take her to another vet or could it be the pain pill that maybe she does not need. I need help. XXXXX@XXXXXX.XXX

I would be concerned that the Deramaxx is causing gastric upset.
Discuss with her vet using pepcid or tagamet

And to get some nutrition in her try some NutriCal, a sticky supplement you can find at pet supply stores, right in her mouth and then 20-30 minutes after that offer some bland food such as boiled chicken meat or hamburger with the fat drained off, mixed with really well cooked rice in a ratio of 1/3 meat to 2/3 rice.
I would also discuss going off the Deramaxx for a week to see if that improves her situation.
