This is a personal choice if she is getting hot it may help her to cool off. But please keep in mind that this posses a increase in chances of her getting a sun burn which will cause her allot of pain. If you decide to do so it may be a good idea to have a groomer or your vet do this to prevent it from getting to short and allowing her to get burned.
