Hair color changes may be a normal part of aging, much like it is in people. If this is the only sign of changes in the coat, there is little reason to be alarmed.
You should watch for other changes in hair coat such as thinning, or a change in texture. These are more likely to be associated with other problems. If these occur, I recommend that you contact your veterinarian.
