i have a 99 jeep cherokee grand laredo the air conditioner blows cold air on drivers side but hot air on passenger side what would cause that and how can i fix the problem myself

there is a motor that controls the blend doors(temp door)it or the door can break and give this problem. there is a service bulliton on this issue.unfortunately it involves the removal of the hvac housing to repair(when you are sitting in the drivers seat picture EVERYTHING you see infront of you on the ground next to your veh,thats what it takes to get it out)so it can be expensive.I do not recomend doing it your self not to mention that you will need special tools for the ac system which needs to be discharged and recharged to do it.sorry to give the bad news.good luck
