Question
Toyota 1994 Corolla, AT, 1.6 US/C
When in park, it does not want to start. But if you take it out of park, or wiggle the gear shift, and try again, it will start. Sometimes it is hard to get it out of park. Starts easy sometimes, starts only after moving the gear shift sometimes. Is there some kind of switch that prevents it from starting unless it is in park. Is this a switch that can be replaced ?

Nothing - just wiggle the gear shift in and out of park, or shove it fully into park and it starts, but it is getting harder and harder to get it to start
