I am 20 years old, and there is this really sweet 13 year-old boy that have a lot in common with and really like. I really want to be his friend, but after making phone calls to him, his mom thinks that I want to have sexual relationships with him, and that I would also be a bad influence, but these things are absolutely not true. The thing is I am very young for my age, and I like to be around kids instead of adults. Do you have any advice?

Hi Customer (name blocked for privacy)-

A few questions to help me better assist you:

1. Are you male or female?
2. Are you in school or do you work? Explain further...
3. Do you have a significant other? If no, why not?

Thanks!
Emily

I am a female in college, and nobody in my whole life has treated me as well as him.

Relist: I still need help.
I am a 20 year-old female, I really like this 13-year-old boy as the cool little brother that I have never had, and I want to be his friend. The problem is after I have sent him letters and made phone calls to him, his mom thinks that I am a sexual predator and would be a bad influence on him. This is absolutely not true! That kid is really sweet and has treated me the best I have ever been treated in my whole life. How can I get his mom to understand this, and still be friends with him?
