Mortgage Purchase - Fair overall credit- good income
Sent to General Experts July 27 01:05 PM

My husband and I are wanting to move to SC if his jobs allows the transfer. However we are unsure if we will be able to qualify for a home loan. We own a home right now, it was inherited. We plan to sell to use it for a downpayment. He has good credit however mine isn't the best. I have been using a credit counseling company to hand my debt payments. I lack a couple years before they are to be paid in full. Do you think this will harbor a real estate financing companies decision based on mine bad credit? Since I signed up with the credit agency I have never been late or missed a single payment. Also is there any mortgage companies that you would recommend we apply through?
It will be our first home purchase. If we sell the current home we should get a pretty nice down payment.. hopefully this will make the deal go through for us. We both have stable jobs here but I will have to find a new one if we move.
