I am interested in obtaining my doctorate in Social Work online courses. I need a program in the middle states region but cannot find where to go. Where should I go to obtain this information? I need an accredited school where my degree will be accepted by the Universities in the eastern area of the United States such as Touro College, Nova University (Fla), Florida Atlantic University, etc. I have looked into online courses in the North Central Area but do not think their accrediation will be valid.

Dear profsherrie,

Accredited on line schools for social work services are hard to find that orginiate in the middle states.

What comes to mind is Walden University. Its degree is recognized for licensing purposes in most of the 50 states. It is one of the few traditionally accredited doctoral programs in the united states.

Reply to Ed Johnson's Post: Thank you for your reply. Actually, I am looking into Walden University. I did want to know, however, if there were any other Universities in the eastern area that I could get my degree online.
