How do I prime a Jacuzzi 5C-S/B well pump?

I've just moved in to a home with well water. It has a small (1.5 gallon per minute) pressure tank. While away for the day the toilet was left running and the tank ran dry. THe pump is off and there appears to be little or no water at the tap. I've inspected the pump and see two possible places where water might be added to prime the pump but they are not labelled. The Jacuzzi site does not list the above pump.

One looks more like an outlet, and the small (3/8") plug above the intake line looks promising.

My question relates to the step by step process to prime the pump and do I need to bleed the pressure tank?

Thank you
Bobby
