I think the adaptors for propane bottles are different- is there a way of converting US- UK, so I don't need to take US bottles with me on a trip?

I believe you can purchase an adapter from your propane distributor

I know the fittings will be metric instead of not

However i have come across some that are npt

I would consult a propane distributer
