Reply to glenn's Post: THE LABEL ON THE MOTOR IS NOT LEDGIBLE BUT I'VE RETREIVED THE MANUAL IT STATES... CUT IN PRESSURE-80 OUT PRESS.-100      15 AMP MINIMUM CIRCUIT REQ. I JUST DONT UNDERSTAND WHY IT USED TO WORK IT IS STILL Y THE SAME 15 AMP DEDICATED BRANCH CIRCUIT I'VE ALWAYS USED UNLESS THE BRK. HAS WEAKENED?

Answer

Hello

The compressor get's harder to work over time like your car

have you changed the oil in it ?

You say 15 minimum

if you have 12 or better wire feeding it change the breaker to a 20

Everything get's old and wears just like me lol

Answer

Hello

I'm sorry if you don't like my answer but if your an electrician why would you put something in at a minimum ??

I always go at least 125% of minimum where did you get your license ?

Reply to glenn's Post: BECAUSE THE CIRCUIT WAS ALREADY THERE AND UNTIL NOW IT WORKED FINE. MY REPLY WAS NOT MEANT TO OFFEND YOU IF IT DID I APOLOGIZE. YOURS CERTAINLY DID.

Answer

I'm sorry if it did

But you stated you were an electrician

If something calls for a 15 amp minimum then you should have a 20 or 30 on it

Parts wear and a 3 ho motor on a 15 amp circuit is just not enough you said OEM was cut in at 90 and out was 100 now you say it's 100 what is it ??if this trys to cut in at 100 it will trip

Answer

I understand your response

your original was nothing but 100

And i under stand your question why has it been working this long

If your an electrician why not put an amp probe on it and figure it out ?
