Answer

Parvo in pups is a combination of vomiting and diarrhea, plus no appetite and 'depression'. I think you have something else, possibly worms, like hooks or whips. They are too small to be seen. When the stool gets more 'normal', and not so mucous and blood, take some in for a fecal exam.

There is a 'dog flu' that is similar to parvo, but more coughing and less vomiting. Also eats and drinks. No vaccine yet.

What to do? If he wants to eat, that will stimulate the diarrhea. If he will put up with it, just water for a day, then easy to digest things for a few days, like cooked rice with a little boullion for some flavor, a little boiled chicken, and not too much.

After a couple days, start mixing his regular food with it to get him all back on it in a couple more days.

I hope this has been of help for you.
