Hi,

Yes a human can get fleas in the hair from a animal. If you suspect that fleas are in the hair. You will need to get the hair treated with a flea shampoo you can pick up at your local pharmacy.

Make sure you clean the house as well, shampooing and vacuuming the floor with a flea powder. All bedding will have to be washed in hot water as well.
