I'm not in a position to test this out first, so if you try this and it doesn't work, then please don't accept this answer as final. I don't want you to pay for it and then not be satisfied.

In Nero SmartStart, when you go to burn a data disc, before selecting tracks to burn, there is a "more" button below (at least on the version I own). Selecting that "more" button will lead you to a place at the bottom where you can "extract tracks." Do so to your hard drive.

The part I'm not 100% sure about is if these extracted tracks from your mini discs can be burnt onto one DVD and then properly accessed. You may have to play with that a bit.

If you are able to leverage this answer and do exactly what you hoped, then my wish is that you come back here and accept this answer. If not, then please let the experts know what worked, what didn't, and where you are stuck, and we'll confer amongst ourselves to see if we can help you get the rest of the way through this project.

Thanks for using JustAnswer, and best of luck to you.

Thank you for your suggestion - I've selected the "more" options - the output file format options are only .nrg and .iso - I save all files to hard drive (both formats) however when adding to disc content an info box displays "incompatible file format"
Maybe I require a different software program..
Please advise
Thank you

Thank you for being patient.

Since you are willing to now work with other software, try MagicISO/ Before you buy it, read what it is supposed to do and make sure you feel comfortable using it:

or

http://www.softaward.com/2083.html

With this software, you should be able to extract files from the .iso files, and edit them. This should let you put all together in one large .iso file, which is a compiled file that will let you burn the DVD directly.

You may have to use the .nrg format instead, but this should still be possible.

It is shareware, so you should be able to try before you buy.

If this solves your issue to your satisfaction, please come back here and accept this answer. If it doesn't, come back to see if I can be of more assistance. Regardless, thank you for being a JustAnswer customer, and best of luck to you.

Thank you again for your second reaponse to my question - (sorry - I don't check my email everyday)- I downloaded the share ware as you suggested - however, I guess I'm not computer savy (literate) enough to use it - I don't seem to be able to make it work - I'm deleting it from my computer - I am also going to accept your reply so you may be paid - And I'll just live with the 4 mini DVD discs - Thanks again - have a great day!
