Answer

Hi,

Yes, cats can definitely develop colds, called upper respiratory infections. Sneezing is one of the symptoms, and might be accompanied by coughing, watering eyes, discharge from eyes and/or nose.

When she sneezes, does moisture come out of her nose? Sneezing can also be attributed to allergies. She could be allergic to something in the air like grass, pollen, a cleanser you used, hairspray, air freshener, etc.

If she seems to be trying to get something out of her mouth, try to open her mouth and see if there's any foreign object in there that you can clear for her.

She may have a loose or infected tooth which is bothering her.

If you can't find anything in her mouth and she continues to sneeze, and/or develop any other symptoms, she'll have to be seen by the vet as soon as possible (tom'w) to find and treat the problem.
