I was wondering about the people of the court of Kings and Queens of history. How did they live ? Were they supported by the King and Queen. I just dont know where they got money to live. Were they paid for being at court? It seems in all the historical novels and books I have read that these people had it good. They got fed, entertained and moved from castle to castle all for free. Especially the ladies in waiting. It just really interests me how they lived. I hope you can answer this for me. Thankoyu.   Elizabeth.
