My Green Leylandii hedge at our new house is straight up, never been trimmed since planting, and is starting to discolour at the bottom. I think it is only about 5 years old and I would like to get a few years out of it yet. Do you have any advice on trimming it down to a manageable shape and size. Should it be cut at a particular angle or anything?
