Hello and Thank You for the question - You will either need to remove the face of the unit to find the connections ,or you may need to remove the unit from its cage, or there will be a small cover that you remove on the unit to expose the connection. Once you have located the connection to the unit there will (should) be a white, black, and green wire. On the replacement cord you will have the same colors. Match the colors and secure with wire nuts. There will also be some sort of a cord clamp to secure the cord to prevent it from pulling out of the unit. Re-assemble and you are finished. If your cord is the flat type with 3 wires along side each other the middle wire is the green (ground). Let me know if you need more information about this, I'm here to help - just ask.

On the cord or the A/C ? Is this 110 or 220 ? The info I found on this unit says it is 110V.

110 v cord- it has a green ground wire that is already hooked up and a neutral wire that is hooked up-I have two wires left that are both white-one has red numbers on it 1187349 and the other has white numbers e180908-i have hooked them up and i can get power to the control panel but ac will not kick on(dog chewed through cord that is why it is being replaced)after the cover is taken off and behind the controls i have three circles to plug into-the top circle has one spot to plug into(has herm written by it)the next circle underneath has one spot to plug into(nothing written by it the last says fan-no spots to plug into-did not know if maybe a cutoff relay to compressor may of tripped?
