maximum sun exposure year-round

I live in Georgia(USA) , in the metro Atlanta area. IF I wanted to have the most sun exposure on the back of my house year-long, in what direction should I face the front of my house? Assume it is a ranch home (single story, of course) and its long axis would be perpendicular to the direction you provide.
Thanks!

Face of house facing a west to northwest direction would provide the most exposure during winter. North to northeast would provide about the same exposure in the summer.

Considering all factors and the tilt of the Earth through the seasons the exact facing of your house would need to be in between the above answer. So therefore taking all rotations and tilts of the earth through the year and season's a due north would give the maximum sun exposure for all season's.

The West to Northwest would provide more exposure during the winter due to the sun's position to the earth. The North to Northeast would provide more exposure during the summer months. So to obtain an exact maximum exposure of all season's then the house would need to be placed in between these two area's mentioned above which would be face of house facing due north. This should better clarify your question and provide your answer. Due north based on all seaonal positions of the Sun and Earth.
