B & W digital photos

The image in my Canon A700 LCD display is black and white. I want to print the photo black and white. But it keeps coming out as orange and black. The instruction books say nothing about this. The printer is a Cannon iP4000. What should I do?

Reply to John Baker's Post: If I print via the computer, a MAC, the program is the one that came with the computer: Canon Digital Camera Solution Disk ver 28.2.

The black and white image prints as shades of orange and black.

If I print directly from the camera, the image on the LCD is B&W, but the print is, again, shades of orange and black.

There is no problem with printing full-color images.

Reply to John Baker's Post: Yes. Eventually --- through searching --- I found grayscale. There were no instructions that mentioned it.

The problem appears to be resolved.
