how do I get from austin, texas to new orleans via bus or train?

i'm need to get from austin to new orleans on sunday july 16th at around 9:00pm. I'd like to take either a train or bus system that goes that route.

there is only one Departure time i see on greyhound bus Departure time is at 7:30 PM and Arrives at 7:15AM price is 102$
now i also found one on Amtrack but they now only go north so you would have to go from austin to chichgo then to new orleans it Departs at 10:31 Am on july16 and arrives in NewOrleans on july 18 the fare is 294$ for train
