Question
I have a nine year old female tabby, indoor, who had green eyes (both eyes) and I have noticed that her left eye now has some coppery reddish colored areas, just the left; her right eye looks normal. Her balance is fine and her sight seems to be fine; she just saw her vet in February of this year. Is this something to be concerned about? Should I get her to her vet?
Thank you,

Answer
Hi Elizabeth,
What you're describing could be a 'bleed' into the eye caused by high blood pressure or a possible injury to the eye. Considering your cat's age (7 yrs. and older is considered a 'senior' cat) and this symptom, I would definitely recommend a vet visit as soon as possible. Even if she saw the vet in Feb., this is something 'new' and should be checked out.
I hope it turns out to be something minor! Please let me know the diagnosis.
