My friend has claimed bankrutpcy back in jan., prior to that she had a medican bill that was under $100.00, but was not covered by her insurance (by the way she knows she has to pay it still). The question, can a collection agency keep adding charges/interest to the original bill? Now the bill is over $300. Please help...by the way, she is now unemployed and wants to go back to school.
