There is a short in the switch of my tv and somtimes when I turn it on all I get is a horizantal line in the middle of the screen. It then usually turns itself off after a couple of seconds. If I shake the switch area it sometimes works. The tv is only a couple of yearsa old so it's one of those electronic switches. I'd appreciate any info about fixing it. Thanks.

You shake the switch area the horizantal line goes away and the tv comes on?
