I need to know the employers responsibility with employees working in a hot environment The garden center in a big box store in Tucson AZ with temps over 100 degrees, plus high humidity due to watering the plants. I got them a very good portable cooler but the manager made us pull it. The cashiers are out there 4 - 5 hours at a time with only a fan blowing the hot air back at them. Does anyone know any legal standing that I can throw at them. I am middle management so I have to be careful how far go with this. Thanks for any info!!
