Years ago Dutch people were shorter than other European, but now when you visit Holland everyone, or so it seems is very tall. Six foot women and men are not unusual. Is their diet different?

It does appear to have something to do with their diet. Some scientists believe that it has to do with high consumption of dairy products. A correlation has also been found between height and income, which could also be attributed to a better diet.
