Question

I have a 1996 Chrysler Concorde, V-6, 3.3 liter engine. My heating/air condition is not responding. None of the buttons will light up, and the defroster blows continually (usually hot air, sometimes cold). Whatever this problem is, it is now causing my dashboard gauges to stop responding. I have cleaned my battery cables and posts, and I noticed a crack at the negative terminal. What could be causing these conditions?
