Small TV that come on

I have a small 18 inch Toshiba Tv on my office desk. It has performed great for 3 years.With no decline in performance, this morning when I turned it on it is dead.The plug and receptical are ok. What could I do myself to start it up again. The cost of service would probably out weigh the value of the set. Thank you for any suggestions.
