Home for sale

I want another opinion.

I am about to advertise my "home for sale" on line. But I know if a web site advertising my home isn't on the "1st page" of a Google search (or other), no one will see my home ad. So I want to know what are the best sites on which to list my home -- ones where people looking for a house to buy are MOST likely to look.

Reply to John Baker's Post: My house is a For Sale by Owner in Sparks, Nevada, so when people search for real estate in the area, they think of "Reno". Unless they are local, they will likely search for "Reno Real Estate". So I've done that to see what comes up & I am already advertised on Owners.com & the RGJ (local newspaper) sites - & Craig's list which I've used with success before.

BUT a potential buyer always has to purposely GO to sites For Sale by Owner to find FSBO listings. If I were a buyer looking for a property, I would NOT do that -- I'd just "look". So what I want to know, is what are the places a buyer would MOST likely look (aside from MLS)?

What sites (that I can use as a FSBO) have the MOST traffic?

Now maybe there ARE no better answers than what I already know, but IF there are, that's what I'd like to know! Hope you can help. Maybe a list of 4 to 5 sites in order of amount of traffic, if nothing else?

Great qualifications for a lot of things, but what do they have to do with real estate?
