What does the reset button do on a Traulsen Refrigerator

My Stainless Traulsen is 15 years old and has a digital read-out for three things. Freezer temp -- reset -- refrigerator temp
What is the purpose of the reset button (there are no controls on it ie. up 0r down

The reset button is to reset the control settings after a power failure. Is it a G-Series? See
