I want to get something appropriate for an eightith birthday.

Can't find a thing but I have some other ideas:

Get something that was made the year he/she was born

Get a copy of a newspaper of the day he/she was born and from their hometown.

Make an $80 donation in their name to their favorite charity.

A coin from the year of their birth

A gift basket with 80 items (favorite foods, pieces of candy, etc.)

A jar of 80 slips of paper containing each containing a memory of time with the person.

A bouquet of 80 flowers.
