What is the web site most often searched for homes for sale by owner?

I am about to advertise my "home for sale" on line. But I know if a web site advertising my home isn't on the "1st page" of a Google search (or other), no one will see my home ad. So I want to know what are the best sites on which to list my home -- ones where people looking for a house to buy are MOST likely to look.

Thank you for your question, and welcome to Just Answer.

www.forsalebyowner.com comes up first, so that will get you a lot of traffic. They also pay to have their ad placed up at the top. Images available only to Customers.

It's followed in 2nd by www.owners.com

then www.homesbyowner.com

www.Craigslist.com is becoming VERY popular, and is free. So that is worth your time.

Regards,

Ryan

Reply to Ryan's Post: O.K., thanks, but I found those already myself. What I'm looking for are a few sites that a buyer would be most likely to find if they were just "looking" for a home in Reno, Nevada.

So I did just that -- to see what would come up, but I was hoping you would know something more.
