Prediciting far in advance when exactly the next aroraborealis will appear is nearly impossible.

The best predictor is to watch the daily activity of the sun. If we are having solar flares that day, for example, there is a good chance that the aroraborealis will appear.

The predictions raight now are that there is a 25 to 30% chance of viewing Aroraborealis in the northenr latititudes over the next between now and the next 48 hours.

You can go to this web site and sign up for prediction emails.

The Aroras are expected to be visible for about 5 days in 28 through out the summer. Remember, for northern latitudes, it is day light most of the day, for example alaska and finnland.
