Ok, help me out here.
I am an expert at polar coordinates. However, I am not able to find East Bay or North Bay on my map that has St Helena. There are dozens and dozens of bays on the east and the north.
I need a little more in the realm of the reference points.
Ok, I think I get it. let me go get some dinner and then I will get right on it.
15:55 South and 05:42 West
15:55 South is a latitude to point over land at 05:42 West,
You are traveling overland, south West.
If you are trying to get there by water, you have to first travel East and north, circle the northern end of the island and then cut south.
I am not sure what you are asking.
Let me explain.
When you gave me the coordinates before, Plotted them on an acutal map of St. Helena. I then overlayed on the treasure map.
The first coordinate was a latitude line (the ones that go east to west around the globe), of 15' 55" South, because it is in the southern hemisphere.
Your clue was that it was leaving the area of Count Bay on the East Cape. I was able to find that spot on the map. It is where 15'55 first crosses land on the North East end of the Island.
The second clue was 05' 42" West at the intersect of the North Cape. On the Pirate Map that is toward the Left and about 1/3d the way to the North. When it is justapositioned with the overlay, that point is actual on the South West end of the Island.
I can not give you a coordinate of a route. I can give you spot coordinates and a heading. However there would be several lheadings.
I am not sure you are interpreting your instruction or clues correctly. Perhaps you can scan it and email it to me, or fax me the clue and instruction.
My email is visible to you.
My fax is: XXX-XXX-XXXX.
