I have a silver serving tray by FB Rogers. I was told it was Sterling, but it does not say that. How can I find out if it is Sterling?

ACCEPTED Check Mark

Hi,

FB Rogers unfortunately did most of there serving wear as Silver over copper. So sadly it is most likely a Silver Plated. The only way to know for sure would be to flip it over and if it says Sterling then that is what it is.

If the markings are to worn to see it can be taking to a antique showing and they can determine if it is indeed sterling.
