Question

office chair

Sent to General Experts June 24, 2006 6:55 p.m.

I have an office chair and the central tube (the gas cylinder?) is hitting the floor and tearing up the rug. How do I lower the legs or raise the cylinder so that that the metal tube is not hitting the floor?

Thanks,
Jim

Had the same problem not too long ago. Actually when this occurs, the cylinder is bad. The only thing you can do is take it back to where you got it (if it's not that long ago) Our chair was from Staples, they did exchange it. I got the same type of chair cause I loved it, and have NOT had a problem with this one. It's a defective cylinder. I am curious to know which type of chair you do have, as did we have the same type.

Hope this helps, If you need anything else please feel free to ask. If you found this helpful don’t forget to click the *Accept* button
